Sefydlwyd y côr ym mhentref Benllech yn 2016 gyda’r bwriad i ail greu diddordeb lleol ym myd y corau meibion. Yn ogystal a pherfformio ar lwyfannau Gogledd Cymru, mae’r côr wedi trafeilio i’r Iwerddon yr Amwythig ac yn ddiweddar, Llundain.
Mae y cor ers 2017 o dan arweiniad Dafydd Jones. Yn frodor o Benllech, ag o deulu cerddorol, ag er bod Dafydd heb arwain côr gynt mae wedi maintioli y cor o ran enw a niferau.
Cyfeilyddes. Mae’r côr yn hynod ffodus cael gwasanaeth y cyn brifathrawes, Rhian Lloyd Jones. Brodores o Sir Feirionydd, ond wedi byw a gweithio ar yr ynys ers blynyddoedd.
Repertoire. Caneuon draddodiadol Cymraeg a Saesneg a darnau gan unawdwyr, deuawdau a thriawdau o fewn y côr pan yn bosib.
Mae croeso cynnes i aelodau newydd. Noson yr Ymarfer yw Nos Iau a gynhaliwyd yn Neuadd Gorowny Owen, Benllech LL74 8QF o 7.30pm tan 9pm.

About Us
The choir was formed in the village of Benllech in 2016 with the intention of renewing an interest in local male choir singing.
As well as frequent appearances at North Wales Venues, the choir has travelled to Ireland, Shrewsbury and recently London.
For the most part the choirs Musical Director has been Dafydd Jones. A native of Benllech he is from a musical family, and though he had not had any experience of conducting a choir before, under his guidance, the choir has grown in stature, numbers, and reputation.
Accompanist. The choir have been extremely fortunate to secure the services of retired Anglesey headmistress Rhian Lloyd Jones. She is a native of the old Meirionydd, but has lived and worked on the Island for many years.
Repertoire. Traditional Welsh/English Male Voice pieces plus pieces from modern composers. Soloists, Duets and Trios are sourced from within the choir whenever possible.
The choir always welcomes new members.
There is a warm welcome to new choristers at our Rehearsal night every THURSDAY and is held at Neuadd Goronwy Owen Hall, Benllech, LL748QF from 7.30pm until 9pm. Visitors welcome.
